APOSTLE BARR ISONG UKOT LAUDS PASTOR UMO ENO’S EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP ACUMEN

As He Rallies Support Of Stakeholders In Ibeno for ARISE Agenda

The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD has been lauded for demonstrating exceptional leadership and administrative acumen which have helped to rebrand the global image of Akwa Ibom State, engender peace and friendship across the State.


This commendation was made by a former senior management staff of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited, Apostle Barr. Isong AkpanIka Ukot in Ibeno, where he hails from recently.


Applauding the Governor for what he described as, “His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno’s conscious investment in capital development of citizens” through youth’s entrepreneurial skills improvement programmes, the regular empowerment of youths through the digital employment portal launched in October by the Governor, the empowerment of the elderly and compassionate home delivery programmes to old and homeless persons, some who have been abandoned by their families.


Apostle Barr. Ukot who took further assessment at the Governor’s infrastructural development in the State, scored him high, especially the administration’s determination to ensure that every local government area of the State boasts of State funded infrastructure of choice, ranging from medical facilities, school’s infrastructure, road and agriculture, in line with the provision of the ARISE Agenda vision of the administration.


Ibeno local government area didn’t make any mistake supporting Pastor Umo Eno as, according to him, the LGA stands a chance of benefiting more from the State government’s largesse.


While soliciting for more projects in Ibeno, Apostle Barr. Isong AkpanIka Ukot called on the citizens to continue to pray for and support the administration of Pastor Umo Eno, as it is a God ordained government that will positively impact the people of Ibeno local government area.


Ukot, an apostle of peace and harmonious relationship with others, irrespective of tribe and tongue, has been at the forefront, coordinating with community chiefs and the Paramount Ruler of Ibeno, to douse any tensed inter-community squabbles, and nip them in the bud to avoid a flare up of anger, discontentment and potential violence.


Aside from law practice, particularly for the oil and gas industry where he cut his expertise, working with Mobil Producing, he is an ordained minister of the gospel, and also played a key role in the victories of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in his ward during the governorship and recent local government elections – being a political stakeholder of Ibeno.


Until recently, Ukot was the counsel and manager, field law services for Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited, Ibeno, Akwa Ibom State. His office was responsible for providing legal guidance and support to the organization through the law department of QIT, Eket, Bonny and offshore.
