Bishop Ekereobong Moses Bags Award,Thanks Gov. Umo Eno For Appointment

The Bishop of Adadia Diocese of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Rt. Rev’d Ekereobong Moses, PhD., has expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, for appointing him as a member of the Akwa Ibom State Christian Leadership Advisory Council (AKSCLAC).


The clergy made this remark penultimate week during the coronation and enthronement ceremonies of Eteidung Uwem Okon Edet at Edem Ibiok village, Ibesikpo-Asutan local government area, after the village head presented an award of excellence to the clergy in recognition of the bishop’s contributions to the development of the community.
The ceremonies which attracted massive crowds of indigenes, dignitaries and the political class saw Bishop Dr. Ekereobong Moses clinching the award for exhibition of exemplary Christian leadership values of forthrightness, honesty and trustworthiness, and especially for being the first Bishop of the Methodist Church of Nigeria from Edem Ibiok in Ibesikpo Asuatan extraction.


Describing Bishop Dr. Ekereobong Moses as a respected and forthright clergyman, who would not compromise his godly values for anything, the village head, His Highness, Eteidung Uwem Okon Edet said: “Bishop Dr. Ekereobong Moses is an asset to this village, he has contributed to the development of the village spiritually, financially and in infrastructural development.”

Eteidung Edet further eulogized Bishop Dr. Moses, stating that he is a minister with integrity, and someone who “values what is honest, true, noble, trustworthy, kind and right,” against personal gain.
Responding, Bishop Dr. Ekereobong Moses acknowledged the village Head and his council for selecting him for such recognition and honour and dedicated the award to all heavenly conscious believers across the world.


He also thanked the Governor of Akwa Ibom State Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, for selecting him as one of the members in Akwa Ibom State Christian Leadership Advisory Council and urged all to embrace the ARISE Agenda of the present administration. Bishop Ekereobong is the Bishop of Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Adadia, which cuts across three local government areas of Ibesikpo Asutan, Nsit Atai and Uruan respectively.

He is a member of Akwa Ibom State Christian Leadership Advisory Council, Publicity Secretary Advisory Board, Fathers In Faith for Good Governance Akwa Ibom State and Coordinator of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Uruan Chapter. He is a doctoral graduate in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Uyo and a graduate of Cliff College, United Kingdom. He has embarked on numerous humanitarian services for the less privileged.
