By Eme Arthur -Issong
Researchers continue to explore the link between nutrition, diet and other lifestyle changes to live your healthiest. Although there is no proven way to completely eliminate prostate, however you may lower the risk through a properly maintained healthy diet that can provide a fighting chance by significantly improving your prostate health.
Dietary changes may need to be made many years earlier in a person’s life to reduce the risk of developing prostate later in life.
In some studies, regularly eating foods high in fat, especially animal fat, red meat consumption, has been associated with increased prostate risk.
Therefore, a diet high in vegetables, fruits and legumes such as beans, lycopene ( a nutrient found in tomatoes, melon, pawpaw, grapes, and broccoli) is naturally rich while selenium ( a nutrient found in white meat, fish, egg, plain and unsalted nuts such as walnuts or almond) may lower the risk of prostate health.
